Beware of SaveMore.com

I recently had a fellow blogger share this article: BBB Warns Daily Deal Shoppers about Complaints on SaveMore.com.  Make sure to read this article and please look into an internet company before you start shopping through them.  SaveMore.com is apparently running some type of scam.

Thank you Money Saving Amanda!

Review: Science Diet Ideal Balance Dog Food

Posted by Healthy and Frugal Wife on November 26, 2011 at 7:00 PM Comments comments (0)

I received this product thanks to Science Diet and BzzAgent.  I was not compensated for my review or opinion.  All of the thoughts and opinions here are mine.

As soon as I received the Science Diet Ideal Balance Dog Food, I opened the bag and it smelled like stinky dog food. Knowing A LOT about dogs, I knew they would like the smell at least. So, I gave all 3 of my picky dogs the food and I was surprised that all 3 of them ate it very eagerly!! The nice thing about this food is that I didn't mix it with their regular diet and none of them got diarrhea from it. I also looked at the list of ingredients and really like the fact that the first ingredient is chicken and the second ingredient is brown rice. Science Diet definitely knows how to make healthy, balanced, great tasting food for my K9 kids!

Review: Kroger Private Selection Frozen Products

Posted by Healthy and Frugal Wife on November 26, 2011 at 6:45 PM Comments comments (0)

I received these products thanks to Kroger and BzzAgent.  The following review is my opinion and I was not compensated for any opinion I give.

I got the Private Selection Southwestern Chicken Trumpets appetizer, Pepperoni and Roasted Garlic Pizza, and Miniature Vanilla Creme Puffs.  The first thing I noticed about the appetizer is that it retails for $7.99.  I was excited at first thinking it would be better than getting an appetizer at a restaurant.  Unfortunately, for this price, I wouldn't get this again.  The trumpets were quite small.  They did have a decent taste but didn't "pop" like I thought they would.

The Pepperoni and Roasted Garlic pizza was about a medium sized pizza at best.  The garlic was entirely too over-powering.  I did like the little mozzarella balls on top, they were a nice touch, but unfortunately if I were comparing price per size to any other frozen pizza this one falls behind.

The Miniature Vanilla Creme Puffs tasted great.  I could definitely taste the vanilla in the creme, but after a few, they all tasted the same.  I would say these are just as good as any other creme puffs, so I would recommend this if you like any other brand.  These would definitely be better if they had chocolate drizzled over them!

Review Meijer Canvas Photo

Posted by Healthy and Frugal Wife on November 23, 2011 at 1:55 PM Comments comments (0)

I was given the opportunity thanks to BzzAgent and Meijer to get a FREE 11 x 7 Photo Canvas.  I was no compensated for my opinion or review.  The thoughts and ideas in this review are mine.

I went to Meijer Photo Center today and used the photo kiosk to download my picture.  I have never used a photo kiosk before so this was new to me, I just knew that I had to bring my photo I wanted printed with my on a flash drive.  I was so excited because the photo kiosk was so user friendly and the staff was very friendly and willing to help me when I had questions!  I was able to crop my picture and tell them if I wanted it in landscape or portrait.  I chose landscape since I had a photo of Echo Lake in Colorado.  I was also able to enhance the photo so it looked more professional when printed.  The option was also given if you wanted it in black and white or if you wanted to add text to it.  It printed off a receipt when I was finished so when I went back in to pick it up, it was easier to check me out.  I was so impressed with the high quality of the photo that was printed on the canvas!!  Also, if you are interested in purchasing a photo canvas, Meijer has them on sale 50% off right now.  So, the 11 x 7 photo canvas that I got will only cost you $19.99 instead of $39.99!
